SCHOOL2U (CSR 2023)
Project Detailsx
Project Overviewx
A total of 132 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan (Asli) Bukit Kemandol received school supplies from School2U as part of its first corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The students, from Year 1 to 6, received items including bags, shoes, uniforms, stationery, and notebooks.
Bryan Tee Meng Sheng, founder of School2U, explained that the company collaborated with the school to identify students in need through the Supplementary Food Plan (RMT) program. The aim of the CSR initiative is to encourage higher school attendance, particularly among indigenous children, and to help alleviate financial burdens for families in need.
School2U, an online marketplace for educational products, hopes to attract more corporate sponsors to continue supporting similar initiatives. The program received support from SLM Services, ABARO (a local footwear company), Canggih All A Plus (school supplies), and Edupaper (stationery).
The goal of School2U is to provide a one-stop platform for school necessities, making it easier for parents and schools to purchase items in one place.
