Hong Leong Asset Management (HLAM) has been donated to 2 orphanage homes, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Mesra Assalam and Rumah Kids in Selangor area. These 2 homes concludes 48 benefactries with complete Back to School set, consist 2 sets of uniform, 2 pairs of shoes and socks.
ABARO's long-term CSR initiative, "Shoes For You. Hopes For Them," began in 2016, aiming to ensure that no child goes to school without proper, comfortable shoes. Recently, ABARO donated 152 pairs of school shoes and socks to B40 students at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Gurney (2) for World Children's Day, contributing to the total of 200,000 shoes donated since the campaign began.
Today we went to Chin Enthnic Community Myanmese Refugee Khampat Christian Fellowship Ctr in Sg Long, Kajang area to give out Shoes donated by Abaro Shoes, school bags with stationary sponsored by a few kind friends, School art supplies and books plus some Goodie bags for the kids sponsored by Robert Howe!

There is story behind how this donation happened. One of our team went to the island of Indonesia to travel and promised to return again because they found that the children were barefoot to school and felt that they could do something for the children.
