On January 10, 2026, Sunway University once again partnered with ABARO to deliver the ‘Back To School CSR’ program at PPR Desa Mentari, Selangor, Malaysia. As part of impactful CSR activities, this collaboration reflects a forward-thinking corporate CSR idea that supports Sunway University in achieving its ESG and CSR goals. By investing in education and community well-being, the initiative empowered students to begin the school year with confidence while strengthening meaningful community connections.

Understanding the financial challenges faced by many families, they provided comprehensive CSR support by delivering essential school supplies to 1,138 students. Each student received:

• School shoes for comfort and confident daily school journeys
• School socks to keep feet fresh and comfortable throughout school hours
• Stationary sets for secondary students stay prepared and organised
• Color pencil to encourage creativity and joyful learning for primary students

This large-scale initiative reflects Sunway University’s strong commitment to ESG-driven CSR activities in Malaysia, aligning institutional values with measurable social impact. With ABARO’s full-service CSR support from sourcing to distribution, every aspect of the program was executed seamlessly at scale. That day, 1,138 children received more than just school essentials, they gained confidence, encouragement, and a renewed sense of belonging.
