Project Overviewx

On October 10, 2025, Qiagen Biotechnology and ABARO came together at SK Bangsar, Selangor, for a meaningful ‘Back to School’ CSR initiative. This collaborative effort aimed to lighten the financial burden on families and support students as they prepared for a fresh academic year—an inspiring example of purposeful CSR activities that create real community impact.

Children gathered eagerly at the school hall—some carrying old bags, some with worn-out shoes, and some who had never owned proper school essentials before. Each child left with items that made their new school term a little brighter and a lot more comfortable.

  • A school bag to carry books comfortably every day
  • School socks that are soft and durable for daily wear
  • School shoes that provide comfort and support for learning
  • Pencil case to keep writing tools organized and ready
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the school day
  • Stationary set 18 items for all essential schoolwork

For Qiagen Biotechnology, this initiative represented more than generosity—it aligned strongly with their corporate goals and long-term ESG vision. Demonstrating a genuine commitment to CSR support in Malaysia, they showed how impactful community-focused actions can be. For ABARO, it marked another meaningful milestone as a school shoes brand devoted to uplifting children in local communities.

With ABARO’s end-to-end CSR support—from sourcing to delivery—every detail of the program was executed with care. That day, 200 students from SK Bangsar received more than supplies; they gained the confidence to start school with pride. This collaboration stands as an inspiring corporate CSR idea for companies seeking meaningful ways to support communities across Malaysia.
