Project Overviewx
On November 12, 2025, Kuok Foundation partnered with ABARO to bring hope, comfort, and renewed confidence to students of SK Penderas, Pahang. This Back-to-School initiative was more than just a distribution program—it was a thoughtful CSR activity designed to help a community start the school year on stronger footing. Through this collaboration, Kuok Foundation demonstrated how corporate CSR ideas can translate into real, measurable impact for children in Malaysia.
The school compound was filled with eager faces—some wearing uniforms that had long been outgrown, others shyly waiting for their very first new pair of school shoes. Every child brought home essentials that truly made a difference:
- School uniform to give every child a fresh start for school
- School shoes to help students walk comfortably every day
- School socks to keep tiny feet snug from class to class
For Kuok Foundation, this program aligned seamlessly with their long-term ESG and CSR commitments. It showcased how strategic CSR support can uplift underserved communities while also fulfilling corporate social impact goals. Their involvement reflected purposeful giving—one that strengthens community wellbeing and builds trust with local stakeholders in Pahang and beyond.
For ABARO, supporting this initiative reaffirmed our mission of empowering children through accessible school essentials. Our end-to-end CSR support—from product preparation to on-site distribution—ensured that every detail was handled with care. Serving 466 students in one meaningful program marks another important milestone in our ongoing effort to uplift young generations across Malaysia.
This collaboration did more than provide uniforms and shoes. It sparked joy, boosted confidence, and reminded each child that their future is worth investing in. Programs like this demonstrate how thoughtful CSR activities can create meaningful change—one school, one community, and one child at a time.
